For those of you that follow my mobile photography blog (this one), first of all, thank you very much! I hope you enjoy the photos I post. Secondly, you may have noticed that the majority of the photos I have uploaded recently say that they were taken with Picplz, but I can assure you they were not. Picplz is a photo-sharing app that I recently began using. It has several filters that can be applied to photos that are basically automatic versions of the kinds of things I like doing to the photos I take with my phone, which kind of takes all the fun out of it for me. Instead, I use a great camera app, called Vignette, for Android. Vignette gives me greater control over my photos than I ever knew was possible with a phone. It’s well worth the $4 that it costs! The other reason that I upload my photos to Tumblr through Picplz is that Tumblr’s Android app fails to upload my photos more often than not, but when done through Picplz, there is rarely any issue, and photos upload rather quickly.
Anyway, I felt I needed to give you this insight so that you can see that I don’t shoot away willy-nilly with a camera that does all the work! These photos are planned out and thought out even though they are snapped with my phone. Happy shooting, everyone!
